This impressive sycamore occupies a prominent position within the garden and forms an important part of the surrounding landscape. The objective was not to significantly reduce the tree, but to improve clearance beneath the canopy, increase light penetration and establish suitable separation from nearby telephone lines.
Through careful crown lifting, selective thinning and tree pruning, the tree’s natural appearance was retained while improving its relationship with the surrounding property and services.
